Our ancestral inheritance lives not only in the stories we carry, but also in the body — in our nervous systems, relationships, beliefs, patterns of expression, and ways of moving through life.
Ancestral Embodiment Through the Chakras is a deeper journey for those who have already begun exploring their family lineages and are ready to bring that work into the body. Using the seven chakras as a map, we explore how ancestral patterns, burdens, and gifts may be embodied — and how awareness, somatic practice, creativity, and conscious choice can open new possibilities. Rather than focusing only on what was inherited, we also ask:
What strength lives within the pattern?
What resource did our people develop?
And how can we embody what we wish to carry forward?
By engaging the body alongside the imagination, participants are invited to move beyond understanding inherited patterns intellectually. Through somatic awareness, creative expression, and ancestral connection, new possibilities for living can emerge.

Over eight live sessions, we will:
• Explore seven chakra centers as gateways into ancestral themes
• Trace inherited patterns through emotional, mental, relational, and somatic layers
• Discover ancestral gifts and resources alongside burdens
• Explore how lineage lives in the body through sensation, movement, and creative expression
• Use free-form mandala making as a process of embodied integration
• Develop new ways of relating to inherited patterns through conscious choice and embodiment
Each session includes:
– a short introduction to the chakra and its ancestral themes
– a guided journey into the lineage
– a somatic embodiment practice
– a moment to capture and gather what emerges
– intuitive, free-form mandala making
– quiet integration and reflective sharing
The journey moves progressively through:
1. Root – I am here – Belonging, survival, safety, and ancestral foundations.
2. Sacral- I feel- Relationship, attachment, sexuality, creativity, and emotional flow.
3. Solar Plexus- I choose – Identity, self-worth, boundaries, agency, and inherited beliefs.
4. Heart- I connect-Compassion, reciprocity, grief, gratitude, and the capacity to give and receive.
5. Throat- I express-Truth, voice, responsibility, and authentic self-expression.
6. Third Eye – I perceive- Self-image, vision, imagination, and the ancestral narratives that shape possibility.
7. Crown- I belong- Purpose, meaning, spiritual inheritance, and our place within the greater web of life.
8. Integration and sharing
This Offering May Be Supportive If You:
– have already begun exploring your maternal and/or paternal lineages
– have some understanding of the ancestral themes you carry
– want to move beyond intellectual understanding into embodied experience
– wish to explore ancestral gifts as well as inherited burdens
– are drawn to somatic practice, creativity, and deeper ancestral integration
This course is a second-level offering and is best approached after some initial ancestral lineage work, either through the introductory course or through individual work. It can also become a foundation for further, more focused ancestral healing and embodiment work. It offers a deeper level of integration, supporting participants to embody the gifts of their ancestors while transforming inherited patterns into sources of resilience, creativity, and conscious choice.
